I have been doing the family genealogy for over 40 years. Unfortunately I seem to be one of the few in my family interested in it. 20 years ago I transcribed the work of George Sears Greene's "The Greenes of Rhode Island" into my first really good computer genealogy program Family Origins 1.0. I posted it to the now defunct AOL genealogy forum and now I see it everywhere I look. That was then but now genealogy is big business. So I am very appreciative of Find A Grave and the LDS Family Search for still being there in the spirit of sharing. Thanks to all the volunteers and contributors, your efforts are appreciated. |
Although I am somewhat handicapped I will be adding gravesites of folks in my area that arn't already posted here (Mass Duplication Is Not Fun or Helpful)

I notice that you have a photo request for the grave of Mildred and Everett Camp in Woodlawn Cemetery in New Windsor, New York. I live right next to the cemetery and go walking there a few times a week. I'd be happy to take a picture of your loved one's grave, but since it's quite a large cemetery, it would be helpful if you could find out the section and lot. You can reach the Woodlawn Cemetery office at 845-561-1249. If you can give me that info, I should have the picture up within a few weeks.

We are currently working to identify anyone buried in Westlawn-Hillcrest Cemetery Omaha NE that has served in the military. If you have a loved one buried there or know of someone, please send us a message. We place flags on the graves for Memorial Day. This project is sponsored by Centennial Masonic Lodge.
If you can send us the names, we will be sure to include them on our list to get a flag.
Thank you for the help with this ongoing project.
If you have already received this message, please accept our apologies for the duplicate message.

I linked Saloma to her parents. Thank you for your information.

I believe I made all the corrections to the memorials you requested, let me know if you would like me to make any other changes.
Thank you, Audrey

I think I connected everything you asked. I'm unable to include the wedding date info for Henry and Ida, but have sent your request (via the edit feature) to D.C. who maintains their pages so that they can add it. I'll look for the other headstone, and try to get a pic for you. =) (Ashland Cemetery is kinda difficult because there aren't records easily found [if at all].) Do you happen to know if Carl Schweder is buried with the rest of the family?

Thank you for all of the wonderful information. I have updated their individual information. If you create any additional memorials for their children or parents, please let me know so I can link them. If you aren't going to create them, please let me know, and I'll do it so they can be linked.

I agree that they appear to be the same. I have left both of them as the original creator of the memorials had source information for both of them. I hope to eventually find someone able to confirm the correct dates before deleting one arbitrarily.

If you would like me to transfer the memorial for your father to your care, I am happy to do so.
