RE: Malissa R. McFarland in Newton Cemetery You're very welcome. Newton Cemetery was a fun little cemetery to document. Somehow I have the feeling that there are many more people buried there than there are visible markers.
Would you mind doing me a big favor? After you update the memorials, please leave me a message about the updates on my contributor page. I'd love to go back and read what you added. I love reading about the people whose markers I photograph.

RE: Re: Solomon Wright I can assure you that no one else is buried there. I was able to find the only known burials that are on record with the Hubbard County Recorder's Office. BUT, the next time I write you will be in a few days, I took a close-up picture of the tombstone the last time I was out there and I can read the rather lengthy poetic epitaph that was inscribed on his stone. It is very moving. I've captured literally thousands of gravestone prose over the decades, but many are the same or very similar. This is one I've never seen or read before. I get the feeling it was written just for your GG-Grandfather.
BTW, I'm back at my home in Iowa. I won't be back in Minnesota until June next year.
