Earl,

I wanted to tell you how much I appreciate the terrific photos you took for me in Greenlawn. Thanks so much for acquiring all of them - Hattie Pearl, Hoyt, and Theodore. Hattie Pearl is a cousin and I am in TX so will probably never get to Kern Co. I love this option on Find A Grave and try to pay it forward. Thanks for your time and for such great photos.

RE: Johnston ross, lakeside cemetery
Hi,
It has been 2 years since we took that picture, but if I wanted to find it, I would try the far west section, on the left as you enter from the west road. If it isn't there, try the section just East of that, on the right side of the entrance road.
To be honest, I don't remember where it was, but that is my best guess.
I see from my comment on the picture, that I had trouble reading it, and that is where the oldest tombstones seem to be in the cemetery.
We live a long ways away, too, or I would go over and look for it. We usually take some photos when we visit. My husband's grandparents and other relatives are buried there. Such a pretty place. So peaceful.
Sorry I can't pinpoint it better for you.
Hope you can find it.
Patty

Hi Earl,

Thanks so much for the WONDERFUL photo of Ralph's headstone. I wish everyone would make them like this. I got a photo a couple of weeks ago and it was so unclear (technical error) that I could barely read it and they did not make is zoomable.

Your contributions to Find A Grave are greatly appreciated.

Evan
