Brenda, I am sorry to be so late answering your note, but my computer went on the blink and had to get our local technician to repair it. As for your questions about Rev. David Turner Hunt, b. 1860- d. 1917. He was a Baptist minister and a Wheelright. He was my grandfather, he married Mary Alice Mock b-1870-1954. They had 5 children, George Manley Hunt, Ruth Corine Hunt Hamilton 1899-1990, Velma Marie Hunt Cowgill 1903-1994, Mary Alice Marguerite Hunt Morrison (my mother) 1906-1978, and David Turner Hunt II b.1908-1989. David II is buried at Hillcrest Cemetery in Atlanta, David I is buried in Oakwood Cemetery, Montgomery, Al, David III is buried in Arlington Cemetery in Atlanta, Ruth is buried in Westview Cemetery in Atlanta, and Velma, Marguerite, Alice, and Manley are all buried in Greenwood Cemetery in Atlanta.
If you have access to Ancestry you can find the whole Hunt family history back to the 1600's under Morrison Family.
Thank you for your interest and if I can help you any further don't hesitate to send me a note.
Betty Morrison McHaney

Brenda, George Manley Hunt is my uncle (brother to my Mother). Their father was Rev. David Turner Hunt. I have the family history back to the early 1700's and have no record of a Mary Betsell. My grandmother was Mary Alice Mock Hunt. If I can help you further, please let me know.

David Turner Hunt, Sr., #42196014 (m. Mary Alice Mock, #19967954). He is buried in Oakwood Cemetery Montgomery Co., AL and was descended from Turner Hunt, Sr., Rev War Sol., and his 1st., wife, Ann Stainbach Are you sure your David Turner Hunt married Mary Bedsell. Could not find any Bedsells buried on F.A.G. web site. Is it possible her "maiden name" wasn't Betsill instead? There is a David Turner Hunt, (II or Jr.), 1908-1989, #19968202 (m. ?). Turner Hunt, Sr., was the "nephew" of Capt. Judkins Hunt, Sr., Rev. War Sol. (my ancestor), Hancock County. I'm also a direct descendant of the Maddox/Maddux family.
