RE: Thanks
I looked next to George, but there were no other graves near him. I will go back out and look for Ruth on my next day off. I spent about 4 hours at different cemeteries today, I'm pooped. Haha. But I'll sure try and find Mrs. Ruth for you.

RE: Myron Greenwood
Lois, If Lillian's name is on the top of the marker (across the flat arch on top) then it is USUALLY her marker. Those white stones can be hard to read. Rubbing it would be best. Well, those aren't Lillian's dates on that marker either. Hmm. I just looked at her memorial page and I see she has a newer marker. Okay, get a rubbing and we will go from there. This marker we are talking about is for a child, so it might be someone who is not even listed here in Find A Grave. Let me know. You're a jewel! Sometimes people do have 2 markers though. I have done this cemetery thing for quite a while now and I think I have about seen it all and then something new shows up. I highly suspect that this marker is not Myron though.

Myron Greenwood
Could be the cemetery office is wrong. It happens. Take a photo of the other marker. His parents are not buried there actually, so I am curious. They are buried in Macon Co., IL. His sisters were Sheila, Gloria, & Dawn. I sure do appreciate you doing this Lois.

Myron Greenwood
Hi, You attached a photo today on the memorial for Myron Greenwood at the Cerro Gordo Cemetery. To be honest, I don't think it is the correct marker. I can read the Greenwood on it, but the dates are way off. Myron was born & died in 1942, then his siblings were born in 1943, 1944, & 1953. This marker appears to read Dec 26, 1909 or close to that. Tell me what you think, and if not him could you please delete it off.

I do appreciate your time & effort in taking this photo, but also we need to be sure it is correct.

Thank you!
