Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have lived in Eastern Oregon all of my life, but like many others the family lines go back into Missouri, Virginia, Kentucky, Maryland, etc. It has always fascinated me to see how family lines develop and where families lived/moved. When my husband and I found Find a Grave, I was able to find information and headstone pictures on great-grandparents, 2nd great-grandparents and even back to some of the 4th great-grandparents. I am amazed at how much information has been placed on Find a Grave and how much work and time has been contributed. I hope that my additions will assist someone else.

If you have additional information or corrections for any memorials I manage, please let me know. I want the memorials to be as accurate as possible.

I believe you are correct. My, you have done alot of research! Thanks for the information. I added this information to his wife's, Mary T. Maddox, memorial. Are you a direct descendant of Joseph and Mary, and would you like a transfer of Mary's memorial to your managment?
Baker twp, Linn County MO is correct for Joseph's home. It also is where I was born.

My pleasure. They're hard to find - as is James. Goofy numbering system there. All's well but for the mineral deposits on the stones.
You're welcome for all.

RE: William Melrose grave marker photo request
Hello Pearl,
I've uploaded the photo I took of the flowers I placed marking the area where William Melrose is buried, but where there wasn't a marker. I also included a caption giving the section, lot and grave number given by the cemetery staff for his burial location.

William Melrose grave marker photo request
Hello Pearl,
I didn't find a grave marker for William Melrose at the location the cemetery office gave me. The location was in their Hillcrest section, Lot 29, Grave 1. To the right, in grave 2 is a James Foster.

I did place flowers where William's grave was located and took a photo. If you would like that photo placed on his memorial page, please contact me and let me know.

RE: Saunders-Wilder
You are most welcome, still waiting to hear if Chase Saunders has a headstone, couldn't find one in the area he is reported to have been buried. Once I hear either way I will let you know.
Glad I could help!
