|My ancestors are mostly German and Irish who came to Nebraska and Minnesota in the 1850's.|
I also am researching my wife's family which dates to colonial times on the East Coast.
I have submitted about 400 names from St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Wisner, NE based on a 1980 recording by Lois Schultz which I found on the web. The date columns were not aligned, so I may have made some mistakes. I'd be happy to make corrections or transfer to close relatives.
I am also interested in surnames McGill, Keefe, Horan, DeLacy, Stanton in Lake and McHenry County, IL between 1850 and 1890.
There are no restrictions on use of my photos.

I got your message regarding James, glad you came across him out here!
I am a Past Camp Commander of a Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War Camp here and we tend the cemeteries and the CW vets graves. He was a member of the Grand Army of the Republic Post that our Camp was the Allied Order of, so our ties to these vets goes back to 1895 when our Camp was founded.
His date of birth comes from info from his GAR records, but his birthdate could well have been 1831 instead of 1841. The gravestone must not have any dates or perhaps was unreadable since i have none listed for the wife.
As chance would have it my brother and i will be stopping by the office there on Wednesday and i will get what info i can from them. I also used to work in the funeral business and there is a good chance that he was buried by a funeral home that still is around today. So i will see what info i can find out.
I will let you know what i find out.

|Karen Tiedgen Reed||Valerie Osby|
I have an newspaper article stating that Valerie was buried in the Catholic cemetery at Battle Creek, NE. Is there someway of checking to see if they had her remains removed from Battle Creek and taken to Wisner cemetery?

Thank you for setting up my mother's burial information. I don't have the ability to add siblings but patricia fleming is also at the wisner cemetary if you would like to add it.
|Cherie Atkinson Clark||Emanuel Family|
Hi Jack! Thanks for all the edits to the Emanuel memorials! Some of them are distant relatives of my husband, but I was wondering if you were also related to them? If you are and are interested in having those to manage, feel free to request a transfer. Otherwise, keep up the edits! I love adding the new information!
