I would just go ahead and add a memorial with the information you have and put burial unknown. That way she will be out there and maybe someday some one will find her and tell you where she is. It has happen to me a few times. Good Luck

Benjamin Morkert
Hello!

I wanted to let you know that Benjamin Morkert's stone was overgrown; I saw a sunken area and sure enough, found a headstone underneath it. I cleared it the best I could without doing damage. He is the only Morkert listed in the registry, but his grave plot is listed as "Section 49, Lot 453, Grave 10/11", which leads me to believe there are either 2 graves there or they can't read the original plat clearly. I did not see another stone, but it's quite possible there's another one in the area that is overgrown.

Just wanted to respond to your request :)

I will put this in my file and do as soon as I can. We had snow and ice, now flooding and my husband had a hip replacement last week. So... I am very anxious for some cemetery tromping therapy ASAP... But not sure when that will happen.

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

James Shoemaker
Connected him to his mother Eva, thanks for the information. I am currently off Ancestry, taking a break. But will get back at it in a few months. James Shoemakers is my 3rd great grandfather. Would you know where Elvira Shoemakers is buried? She was married to Peter B King in IN. Thanks, Jenny

RE: Crouch
Samuel and Harriet Buck-Crouch were my 3rd great grand-parents. I have a picture of George and Mary; George is sitting and Mary standing - Mary is wearing a light colored shirt, darker skirt, and a black belt...her hand is on George's shoulder. Is this the same picture you have?

George was my 2nd great uncle (on my Crouch side) and Mary Cobb was my 2nd great aunt (on my Cobb side), so I have done quite a bit of research on both sides. George's older brother, James L, married Leona A Cobb (Mary's sister - my 2nd great-grandmother). I have a picture of James and Leona as well as a picture of their daughter, Lucy Dru Crouch (my great-grandmother) if interested.

May I ask your relation to Samuel and Harriet?
