Proud to serve on the Switzerland County Cemetery Commission. Like us on Facebook! Myself along with my husband restore our pioneer cemeteries in our country. Happy to say we did a total restore of a small private cemetery (Tapp Cemetery) and a rebuilding/restoration of an original dry stacked rock wall that surrounds another small private family cemetery(Hunts Creek Cemetery)|

I am so pleased. This is why i do genealogy and history! Your post made my day. I think I told you that they are in a crypt near my grandfather and his wife Verna (she was not my grandmother but we loved her just the same...grandpa insisted we did not ever call her grandma out of respect for our grandmother.).
May God bless you and I am again, very pleased...The next time I am at Hillcrest I will get a photo of the crypt area and the wall that they are located to give you an idea...a little more of their "final earthly" resting places. I like that, :)
All the Best,

I was wondering if you had a source for the photo you placed for this couple. Her name is Lora, not Nora...so I am a bit curious. :)
I have just began my research...I am hoping you can help me shed some light....do you have any additional information on them?
Thanks so much,
P.S. I have already placed a change request for her name, their birth and death dates, etc.

First Thank you for adding the Tapp Cemetery, it has helped close a couple of ends to my family tree. I see other stones next to James Wallace Tapp. Are thee names Readable? Would you happen to have the other names buried in this cemetery. Also, Margaret Funk, her maiden name is Margaret Smith they were married 20 Nov 1838. I do not know the first name of second husband (Funk)
Thank you so much for the photo. We have requested a memorial headstone for Stephen since he was a Revolutionary War soldier. Stephen was my ggggggrandfather. Michele
