You're welcome - and good luck! I'm hoping that they have records by date as well - that would be most helpful. Someone else got the same result from them today (probably from the same volunteer?), and she is quite sure her relatives are buried there. I've never managed to get there at a time when the office is open.

Of course, there might have been a last-minute change.

But I wouldn't be at all surprised if his name were misspelled in the cemetery records - did they try every possible misspelling? Did they look by date? Many of the early markers for non-English names, are misspelled, and the town records often have the names misspelled as well.

I also don't know how good their records are, in general. I haven't seen a marker for him yet. Of course, he may well be buried in one of the many unmarked graves in the sections: St. Anthony, St. Catherine, and (part of?) St. Peter. Are there complete records for those sections?
