I love working on family history and genealogy. I am the keeper of the family tree for several sides of my family (West, Burke, DuBois and Prouty, I also help assist with the Demrest/Cheever family). I find researching my family history totally addicting and enjoyable.|
My love of visiting cemeteries (reading the names and dates, wondering what their family stories are), photography and genealogy would be a perfect fit to become a photo volunteer here on findagrave.com. Unfortunately at the moment I am knee deep in working on 3 major family trees and regular every day life to commit to being a photo volunteer at this moment.
Stay tuned, I am sure I will update my availability to be a photo volunteer and my profile.
I welcome corrections, additions and links to family members in effort to make the memorials more accurate and complete.
I also welcome emails from possible relatives, if I have additional information, resources, etc I am willing to help out and meet distant relatives. So let's exchange information!!

You are very welcome!
|Cindy Davis||Ovide DuBois|
I have been searching in St. Mary's Cemetery in Jewett City, Ct and I found Ovida DuBois, wife of Ovide. Next to her was a stone cross with no information on it. I wondered if that might be his stone. I have a picture of both if you are interested.

The SAR application says died abt. 1810. I have talked with an Erin at the Meredith Public . Library and she was supposed to send me something by e-mail but it didn't arrive. Will call her again.

I am so puzzled about the death and burial of
Benjamin Sinclair born 1750 died 1833,that is listed in the Meridith cemetery (from the public library in Meridith) Is there an actual stone with dates for him there? I will check to see if the info on his death in the Sons of the Revolution applications furnished any proof.
Asa,Sabrina and Isabelle are the only ones with a stone in the plot.

Per state d/b her maiden name was Berube. Sac sent in to give location but state has it listed as unmarked. Of course that could just mean that her name was never put on an existing stone.
RIHC has him listed as in Precious Blood Cemetery, Woonsocket.
Still checking on Ovida

Sorry I never got back to you. I just came across your message. Charles and Rhoda where actually related to my husband, I do have Pinkhams on my side of the family but it was the ones that go way back. My family cemetery is the Gilbert Pinkham Cemetery in Harrington, ME. There is also the Nathanial Pinkham in Harrington.,
|Denise M.||RE: David Prouty|
Hi, I am not that familiar with the Prouty family execpt to say that there are many Prouty's buried in Spencer and surrounding towns. The high school in Spencer, Ma is named after a David Prouty although I could not tell you which one. Also there are still Prouty family members living in Spencer. I still have a lot of pictures of Prouty stones from that particular cemetery that I have not yet posted. I will look though what I have and let you know if I have who you are looking for. Also, many of the stones were in bad condition and very difficult to read. Denise M.
