Martha Badgerow
I will keep looking. There is those two spots near her that have stones but I can't see any writing but I will take a shovel and dig them up and see if they are markers.

I only searched about 1/2 to a little less then 2/3rd of the cemetery today. I found a Mary Badgerow died 5/15/1878 73 yrs. Possibly her mother? did her mother die in child birth? It was a square tower top, the other side had a Hester Halbert B 8 Jan 1870 D 3 Apr 1900. Either one in your family? There is a couple of buried stones near by, but no visible writing on them but I will take a shovel and try to dig them out next time I look.

You mentioned in this grave entry that he was buried in the Poorhouse cemetery in Simcoe, Norfolk county, Ontario. We interested in what information you have to verify that he is buried there as there are no stones nor any real official record. Just to let you know that the Poorhouse Cemetery has received its Storyboard and a dedication ceremony is happening on June 5, 2016 at 2 pm at the site.

I am a descendent of James and was wondering where you got the name Abner as one of his sons. I haven't found him in any of my 30 years of research. Could you please clarify! Thanks

RE: Janet Steel Dewey
You are welcome. Fortunately we were able to successfully dig out the gravestone with a plastic trowel. (We do not use metal tools which can damage marble.)

I copied and pasted all the info into his "bio" on memorial. If that is not what you wanted, please let me know.

RE: What an honor!
Evelyn was my grandmother. Jim and Howard (Newt) were my great uncles. I think Bus and Uncle Jim were only 6 months apart were'nt they?
