I am just starting out with this as my new hobby. I am retired and lived in Ozark Al for the last 25 years. My father and mother was added to find-a-grave just a year ago by someone that I don't know,so I am just "passing it along" , starting with our local small city graveyards, getting most of my info from our local obituaries. |
I noticed that my husband, who passed away 20 years ago, did not have a listing in "find-a-grave", that is when I saw a real need, and enjoying Ancestry.com as much as I do, with 4 family lines that I am completing there, I deeply appreciate the pictures I have received from relatives, and finding new relatives...
I will gladly make any corrections or transfers. You may use any of my pictures anywhere.

other family lines: Wallace, Kalina, Lowe, Brown, Jackson, Byrd.

I went into findagrave to leave a request for a photo of my sister's gravesite and was thrilled to find that you had already done it! Thank you so much. I have never seen it & have not been there since her death. Can you please transfer access to me so that I can add more information about her?
Thank you! Andrea Stine

My dad was a caller for over 25 years. I think I could SD before I learned to walk. He had 3 clubs and they would travel all over the US and had so many friends. Don't find many SD'ers any more. The clubs around Tulsa are almost all gone. I have all of the membership books from the clubs he had and hope to link all the dancers in the future.
Thank you for your wonderful note. Happy SD'ings!

I went to the library back in July or August to do some genealogical research and the lady there was real nice. Seem like I remember passing you on the way back to that section. Unfortunately, I didn't find much that would help me.
Manonia Snell's book, Ma-Ma Country, is in the library. It has many mistakes, but it still has a lot of useful info. She is a distant cousin. I'm looking for my great great grandmother's maiden name, but really can't find it. I think she was an Enfinger before she married my great great grandfather, George Enfinger. They were probably 1st or 2nd cousins. I've based this conclusion on the 1850 and 1860 Census.
Thank you for the many transfers.

from a book, Ma-Ma Country, by a local historian, Manonia Snell, of Skipperville. Do you know her?
Thank you so much for the transfer of Harry Herbert Herndon and his wife Lucile Mathews Herrndon. I really appreciate it and all you do for find-a-grave.
