I have developed a deep love and appreciation for doing Family History research. I have a lot of respect for and the members that volunteer their time to make this website the remarkable service it is for people to locate, remember, and honor their late loved ones. I am so excited to have the opportunity to be a part of this great service, and hope to be able to help others locate and discover their ancestors for current and future generations.

I just wanted to update you on your request. There is still no permanent marker, but the ground has been leveled and the gravel placed to the side, which may mean one will be placed soon. We'll check again before too long, your request is still on our list.

I'll be 68 soon, but for an old gal I do pretty well with this computer thing! I do a lot of genealogy, I'm addicted to it so it s my drug of choice! I help others when they need help with their research. I have over 200 working files on the pioneers of the Mississippi Gulf Coast. My ggg~grandfather was Louis Fayard who settled in Biloxi in the 1700's and he was the one that gave the property for the "Old French Cemetery" in Biloxi now it is called the Biloxi City Cemetery. His old home is still standing in Biloxi known to the locals as "The Mary Mahoney Restaurant" the old original building still stands.
The coast and its old pioneers are quite colorful and a huge big pot of gumbo. Most all of the old pioneers were related or married into the families, so I am related to most of the old groups on the coast.

If you need my help on your research, send me an email.

You really have to watch these cemeteries as there will be more than one by the same name, so always check your obituary and see what county it is in, like Evergreen, there is one in Gulfport and one in Ocean Springs, Mississippi. Evergreen in Gulfport they list Evergreen Gardens as Evergreen, but actually they are two separate cemeteries. I have been in the cemetery and one sits on the North of the road Evergreen Gardens and the Evergreen is on the south side, however they were combined. The Evergreen Gardens are flat tombstone near the ground, which the other one is above ground.
You'll get use to them after awhile. Sometimes no one does obits and it can be a real hassel! I am getting old and it is hard to keep up at times.
I am sure someone will send you a message and tell you to remove the memorial, but you know what, I don't pay too much attention to the nit pickers!

Oh yes, before I forget, when you add a photo, try to enlarge it. Go to edit and it will bring up the photo and click resize. I usually fix the setting at 150 and then click ok and you will see it enlarge as you watch, save it and then add the larger photo to your memorial.

No problem. I have been doing this quite a long time, however if you would like you could add his photo. I didn't have one on him.

Please note: The memorial I added for Mr. Crose was added before yours, so yours is a duplicate.
My date of the memorial was January 24, yours was on the 26th.

RE:William and Versie Baldree
I created memorials for William and Versie Baldree. Interesting to note, they both died in 2001 in spite of her being 4 years younger.

While taking pictures at Greenleaf, I also have William and Versie Baldee's grave site if you are interested.
