Hello my name is Alicia Waters johnson. Waters being my maiden name. I've been on a quest for quite sometime to find family on both sides of my parents. Cornish and Waters. The waters family came from east new market, md.and went to different states, pa, de, new jersey. Cornish from md and new jersey, I came upon this website and found my mother's sister grave, Mary E. Cornish that died when she was 8 yrs. old . I would like to find other family members. All the volunteers have done a great job and I'm so grateful to have found this site. God bless you all. Alicia Waters Johnson

RE: mary e. cornish photo
You're very welcome. It's a large cemetery and I wasn't having any luck finding her gravestone. But, I had run into the groundskeepers at the cemetery the previous week, who referred me to local township historical museum. I visited that little schoolhouse museum yesterday afternoon and met two delightful ladies who helped me find the records a Boy Scout had made years ago in fulfilling his Eagle Scout badge by mapping the cemetery. With the map in hand, I was able to find her gravestone fairly quickly. The Boy Scout had the wrong dates, but I was sure that it was the right location because they had identified her husband next to her name. It was a nice little adventure and I got to meet two wonderful ladies in the process. So, thank you for asking for her picture! I greatly enjoyed the search. With warm regards, Rhonda
