RE: German Military Cemeteries
No problem. I'll help out updating these guys as I have time--so do check occasionally over the next few days. If you want to see what I've been doing with German Cemeteries--check out Toila Cemetery in Estonia. I'm *almost* finished entering that one, as I'm near the end of the "S" names. I got started on German cemeteries when we visited Belleau in France a number of years back.

RE: German Military Cemeteries
That's (German War Graves Commission) the one I was thinking of. Since I speak German, it's been useful to me. I have sent in a correction on one of your memorials already. You have to go to your Findagrave homepage to accept it--up near the top, you should see an Edit button with a number (if you have edit requests).

German Military Cemeteries
I noticed you made some additions to a German military cemetery I was looking at in Russia. Did you know that there is a German site that can help you find more info about those folks, including date of death and actual burial plot (if they are not unknown, as happened to so many)?? Let me know, and I can help you with that. I'm also happy to do the search and update for you by the new edit system, if you like--you do not have too many.

Anna Maria Pfaender
Hi Peter,
I have been working on the Pfaender's again and just found Johann Georg's first wife Anna Maria (nee Strabel) Pfaender's death record and the marriage record for her with him and the second wife Marie Sophia (nee Schmitt) at East Ida Immanuel Lutheran Church, in Ida, Michigan. If you want to take a peek they are on my family tree now on Ancestry. There is much more work to be done on them, so I am far from finished. I also made a memorial to Anna Maria with a picture. I have transferred ownership to you. It has all the information that I have found on her so far. Maybe you can find more information on her and her family there in Germany if you do, please let me know.

Thank you and have a great day.

German Pfaender memorials
Hi Peter,
I have been looking over the memorials that you have added of the Pfaenders in Germany. Very well done, it is a wonderful way to remember them.
Take care,

Pfaender memorials
Peter,
I transfered all of Pfaender & Schober memorials that I have to you. The only one that you don't have right now, is Augusta in the Bedford Cemetery. She was never transfered to me. You might ask the woman that has her memorial to transfer her to you since you are a cousin. I don't believe that this woman is family, but you probably need to ask to make sure. I will keep in touch with you and let you know if I find any other information on the family.
Take care,
Joy
