I am Vickie Angela Glover De Voll Brown. I was born 4-20-54 in Cullman Regional Hospital, Cullman, Cullman County, AL, USA to the parents of Mable Valentine Marty and Wilburn Bailey "Bill" Glover. I was taken home to Owens Cross Roads, Madison County, AL where I lived until I graduated high school at New Hope High School in 1972. I then moved to Huntsville, Madison County, AL where I worked at Medical Center Hospital. I started college at the University of Alabama - UAH - in 1973 and graduated in 1977. I continued working at Medical Center Hospital until I joined the USAF in June 1978. I was stationed at Andrews AFB, MD, Shepperd AFB, TX, Keesler AFB, MS, Fairchild AFB, WA, Kadeda AB, Japan and Scott AFB, IL. While at Scott AFB I became ill and was medically retired in 1993. I had a son, Jason Bradley De Voll while stationed at Kadena AB on Okinawa, Japan in 1986. In 1992 we were transferred to Patrick AFB, FL. I was divorced in 2003. I met David Brown and married him in 2006. We continued to live in FL until we moved to our farm in Keyser, WV full time in the spring of 2014 where we have a large working farm with our main business being breeding, training and racing thoroughbred horses. We have several more businesses on the farm and enjoy out time there very much. As John Denver sang, "West Virginia, almost heavenů"

RE: Transferring memorials
I think I have transferred all you requested except:

Ruth Glover Martin #8379403. I did not originate this memorial and cannot transfer. Please contact the originator.

James Melvin (Buddy) Glover. He is a cousin of my husband and his daughter, Betty, is very close to us. I prefer to keep that one for now.

Vickie, Good to hear from you. I have lots of cemetery records for Cullman and Madison Counties printed and in notebooks. I don't know if I have this cemetery. I'll check. If there is not an existing memorial on find a grave, you can create one of give me the info and I will. My e-mail address is Send me the names and dates and I'll see what I can find. You might find an obit on line in the Cullman Times site that would verify your info. Be sure of what you want to search for, because they give you only so many searches, then want you to subscribe. It may be 5.

Sponsorship of a Memorial doesn't guarantee you can take ownership, you have to message the Creator of the Memorial to ask for a Transfer to your Number. Use the "edit" tab at top of Memorial to contact them, or alternatively send them a message like you did with me.

I am sure there will be no problem as this is your close family relative.

To add a different flower these are the steps.

On your main page press "Contributor Tools)
Choose "My Scrapbook" on bottom left
Choose "Add New Item to Scrapbook"
You can either upload a small image of your own or "Choose other users uploads"
You will find lots of flower options here, choose the ones you want.
If you click on the image it will add to your scrapbook.
Also if you see one you like on a page you can save it to your computor and upload it.

Try the above and see how you get on, hope it works for you

Best regards

Mable Marty Glover
Hi Vickie

I checked Mable's Memorial, sometimes I help out with the Flowering Projects in the Forums at findagrave when they don't have flowers.

If you want to find a nice flower to add, you just press, flowers -then edit, and "add a flower from other user scrapbook" this will then save if you want to use them again.

If you are doing research you could post a query on the Alabama Forum and the members will do free look-ups of Obits etc for you.

Regarding transfer of ownership of the Memorial for your family, just check out the Creator of the Memorial (this is on the bottom left) and send them a message requesting this.

Hope this helps, feel free to ask further questions.
