Hi, Mary. I am planning on a visit to Cypress Hills Cemetery in the near future but I can't say exactly when; it is not near my home and requires an entire day to travel and locate/take photos of graves. It is a huge cemetery and not easy to find graves but I have relatives there so I know my way around a bit.
I will only look for graves at Cypress Hills that people request if I am supplied grave site locations in advance; it is way too time-consuming for me to go to the office, wait for someone to help me, and wait for them to look up locations (especially if I'm looking to photograph a dozen or more graves in order to make the trip worthwhile). Also, if you ask them to look up more than a couple of graves, they will tell you they don't have the time to do that.
If you can email me the names, birth/death dates, and grave site locations of those you are looking for, I will try to find them on my next visit. I will tell you when I'm going a few days in advance in case someone else has already fulfilled your request; similarly, if someone else fulfills your requests, please let me know so I won't spend time looking. Also, if you are calling the cemetery for the grave site locations, ask if they are in the "old" or "new" section.

What appears on Sister's memorial is all I have but, try writing to the Sister Archivist at
Notre Dame of Elm Grove
13105 Watertown Plank Rd
Elm Grove, WI 53122
She should have an obituary for Sister Humilitas and/or basic information such name of parents. Good luck! Annie

Hi Mary I did a google search on your GG grandfather and posted it on memorial. He was quite a person ..god bless him. I will try and have the stone up righted. It is a rather large stone. Will need heavy equipment to fix it.I will also pull the burial record we have on him and post it also.I think the rest of the family names appear on the side of stone I can't see. It would be great if you had a photo of him to post.
