Alternate Landrum lines.
Origional message: John Lumpkin Landrum
Have you checked the records of the Antioch Baptist Church in Lexington (Oglethorpe County), Georgia? I found the book in the DAR Library in Washington. It had further information about the Landrum family, and proved that 8 family lines accepted by the DAR are wrong.

There is no Find A Grave Memorial# to help discussion. That is I'm not sure exactly what or whose line is questionable by the post, but I do post any information for all the family lines to have.

I know there can be many reasons or conflicts for a separation in family lines as well as history, Will Contracts, Government Census, and handed down stories all seem to have a life of their own.

Also, I seen families split in war just by living north or south and the historic result seems to be a hush hush "no issue" or missing lines that surface later by reasons described above.

In any case, if there is any new or alternate information please use the Findagrave button, "Edit" and "Additional information".

This will help manage alternate or questionable information.

Thanks for any hlelp in the matter.
