|John Vincent "VINCE" Powers||RE: RE:PVT Hugh Carr|
He was with the 75th OVI, a unit my GG Uncle died serving at G'burg....I researched all known/locatable members! The info on PVT Carr would have come from his CW service records......and most all from the 75th OH captured at Gainsville FL were sent to A'ville GA, where many died! Please let me know if you find anything to the contrary!? THNX! JVP, TX

The Karrs' is on my husband side. His mother was Florence Maxine Karr Valentine. Sorry at this time I won't transfer management.
Hi - I see that you requested a transfer on this contributor's profile page. The proper procedure is to use the Edit tab on the memorial to ask for the transfer. This way there is no confusion as to which memorial you are requesting. Additionally, there is often a problem with messages from profile pages and the notice isn't received by the contributor.

There is no reason for creating a duplicate. The procedure is to send a suggest a correction request from the memorial page, wait 30 days, then contact the edit people at find a grave. They will transfer your father to you. You can check it out in the FAQs if you have more questions.

No problem. I may be related somehow, as I have a shoemaker in that area married to one of my Baker relatives. I'll have to look into it further.

Howdy Sham....would be happy to add any new info you might wish, but prefer to retain MGMT as he was a member of the 75th OH, my GG Uncles Reg't of which I have put a lot of effort into reassembling on F-A-G! Glad you found him tho! JVP, TX
