RE: Charles Freel I can't believe you have followed up after all this time. Thanks so much for getting back to me. This is great information for me. I am planing a trip to Washington in June and with this info it will help me out greatly in finding his grave. Thanks for your time and efforts in dealing with this, I really appreciate it.
If for any reason you want to contact me again feel free to E-mail me. Middle initial is an L in my E_mail. Larry L. Ciet email@example.com
RE: James W. Parkinson Sorry, I can NOT help you at all. Most of the memorials were not even created by me and two are FORMER memorials of mine that I no longer maintain, so I can physically do nothing with any of them. You need to contact each memorial holder directly through each memorial on the edit tab in the right hand corner of each memorial.
RE: Walter Kelly Hello, If you go to the edit tab at the top of Walter's Memorial page, you will get the opportunity to add any information that you would like. When that gets forward to me, I will be happy to accept the edits. Thanks, Eileen
RE: Jennie Eaton Hi there! Hope this finds you well. Thank you for your kind words. Just wanted to note a few things:
1. I changed this memorial a little bit. I was not sure what to do about her first married name but I have since removed it.
2. I added her maiden name.
3. You may or may not know this, but in the past few months Ancestry has added PA death certificates from the years 1904-1944. Knowing this, I looked up her death certificate, which was not available when I first created the memorial. I was able to find her date of birth and her second husband's first name. I have added that to her bio. Also, her mother's name on the DC is listed as Jennie instead of Matilda. I noted both names in her bio.
4. If you are researching others who lived in that area, there is a wonderful website from the Conneaut Valley Area Historical Society at cvahs.org. If you click on the "Go to CVAHS Menu", you can access the cemetery index. I have been trying to cite that source on memorials but did not see that on her memorial.
5. I am not related and would be happy to transfer any/all Williams and Eatons to you. Simply let me know.
Hope this helps in some way in your research, especially since you are doing all this from afar. I know from experience how challenging that can be. If you are searching for others in that area feel free to let me know. Have a great day!
RE: Clarice June Canfield Kelley Nancy -- First, as the daughter of Clarice & Thomas Kelley, I feel you are entitled to "own" their memorials. I am going to transfer the one that I created to your loving care. You will be able to modify it, add to it, whatever you see fit. The only thing you will not be able to do is to delete it.
If you access your father's memorial, you will see a tab in the upper right area marked "edit". If you click on that, then fill in the form that appears, and explain how you are related to Thomas and that you would like to manage that memorial, I'm sure that the creators of that memorial will also transfer it to you. Then you can add information, edit what's there, etc.
As for the picture on his memorial -- do you have a new one to upload? If so, contact the person who placed the photo there, (the name of the person is shown below the picture as "added by"). Click on the name and it will take you to a contact page where you can leave a message. Explain your situation to that individual, and request that they delete the photo they posted. You can also post the new photo without having the old one removed, but it would be better to have only the most current one there. It looks as if the person who posted the photo may not be an active contributor to Find A Grave, so you may not receive a response. If you don't hear within 30 days, send me a note and I'll see if I can help.
I notice that you received a negative response from contributor Kathy B regarding your apparent request to add information to an Alvin Kelley memorial. What she is telling you is that you need to use the "edit" tab when contacting her. Many contributors will only respond when you contact them in that manner.
RE: Charles P. Ryan 1900-1987 I've add all alvailable information to the memorial so I don't have anything else to share. You may want to contact the cemetery directly to see if they have additional information. sorry I couldn't be of more help
RE: Alvin Kelley I'm sorry, but I do NOT make additions or corrections from the public message page. You'll need to go to each memorial you want additions/corrections made on and click on the "edit" or "suggestion a correction" tab and input the information there.
