Margaret Jane St. Clair
Jack, I was wondering if you know anything of Margaret Jane St. Clair born in Bedford in 1904. Her marriage license in Roanoke City in 1926 names her parents as Marshall A. St. Clair and Genevia M. St. Clair.
I know that Chambliss St. Clair named a son Marshall so I thought perhaps he may have a brother named Marshall. Of course the Roanoke City Clerk may have written the names wrong. Perhaps Melchizedek even became Marshall ... ???
I would love to hear of any connection ... perhaps you know of my Margaret Jane St. Clair. I can not find the family in census records nor any other records.

RE: Transfer of Memorials
Dear Jack,

I'm sorry. I haven't been on the site for quite a while. I clearly missed the emails from I've now transferred the memorials over to you. It's really nice to see all of your photos. We are distant cousins, although there are so many St. Clairs in my family tree that I can't figure out exactly how. My great grandmother was Etna Morris St. Clair, but both her parents were St. Clairs and cousins of some sort. Her parents were Annie Eliza St. Clair and George E. St. Clair. Annie's dad was Bird, and George's dad was Burwell Carroll St. Clair. They all go back to Alexander St. Clair who came from Scotland apparently in the late 1600s. Cool stuff! I'm happy to share any information I have. I have it all in a tree on, if you want to look around.

transfer of Mary Lois Adams
Gerry said you need my number #47064173 in order to transfer my dear aunt Mary Lois to me.
I appreciate your help and the photo of the tombstone.

Mary Lois Adams Memorial# 102814762
I was surprised to find my photo of my aunt Mary Lois "Jimerson" Adams posted under Gerry. Please change the photo to BettyeSue. Memorial# 102814762
Also, the person who is managing her at findagrave must not be a relative because her maiden name is not listed.
I hope you will transfer to me. She was more a sister-mother than my aunt. I live in SE Arizona and I have attempting to recall her name when she died so I could add a memorial. The name on her gravestone when she died was her legal name and the name of her last spouse who she divorced many years previously to her death. I never considered that her tombstone would be changed and just recently found a note I had of her legal name when she died.
Truthfully, I thought she wasn't buried by Joseph Adams the father of her children. I had failed to take my camera when my uncle, Mary's brother, took me to her grave and have regreted of my failure. Thank you so much for the photo.

Please consider transferring the grave to me so I may add my extensive knowledge of her life and ancestors (supported with documentation). Message also sent to Gerry.

St. Clairs
Made the link for Paump. Will have to create a memorial for Nellie before she can be linked to Deck. Call me and tell me more about her and where she's buried and we'll create her memorial. Gerry
