My husband and I currently live in Olathe, Kansas. We started researching the descendants of Isaac Green Harris, his great-grandfather and Louis Lee "Tump" Edwards, his grandmother's line. From North Carolina to Kentucky and Tennessee to Illinois to Missouri to Michigan. We are adding memorials, pictures and updating the genealogy data listed for our family members. For my side of the family I am researching the descendants of Francis "Frank" Virgil from Fabius, New York, who was my great-grandfather; the Freese family from my great-grandmothers line; the Skillman family from my paternal grandmother's line, the Gooch family from my maternal grandfather's side and the Moorman from my maternal grandmother's line. We've been visiting cemeteries in Linn County, Missouri and Stoddard County, Missouri. Thank you to all who contribute to findagrave.com! This is one of my favorite sites.|

I will try to get there asap. but I see that Son Hiram Jr is buried in Evergreen cem. in Alpena and son Henry is buried in the Bolton Cem. in Alpena. These people may be in one of those cem.
Give me a couple of days and I will see if I can get to the cemetery for you.

I am sorry that I can offer no help on the "Mother" stone without checking it out again. It does appear to be next to Albert's but the cemetery is crowded. You could check with the cemetery office by leaving them an e-mail/phone message. They are super nice and will call you back with information.

Thanks for letting me know. Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Louis, Gratiot Co., MI has him in the record book and that is why I made the memorial for him in that cemetery and never checked elsewhere. Cemetery records showed his name, buried in Square Hill Block A Lot 48 and gave a death date of April 26, 1910 but no birth year and they show he doesn't have a headstone. According to the death certificate, the death date was incorrect. Also, all census records I found. 1880, 1900 and 1910, he always lived in Bay City so I have no idea why he was in Oak Grove cemetery records.
Sincerely, Sandra Moore
I thought I saw on ancestry where he was in the Spanish American War ? IF so you may want to make note of this on his memorial.

You may want to check to see what has been loaded already on Find A Grave and request transfers. Many have been loaded with burials up to 1997. I will transfer those that I have created. Please request any other family members that I might have made a memorial already. thank you

Please look over all the Freese family in Evergreen and let me know which ones you would like me to transfer to you. It is always wonderful when a family member steps forward and wants to manage the memorial. thank you

Thanks for the photo in Lawrie Cemetery. I have to say that was the most interesting grave marker I have ever seen!
