RE: William Spiker
Thank you very much for the information on William Spiker! I know there's another stone with Spiker on it (possibly his non-military stone). I'll see if I can piece together any other memorials for family members! Thank you.

Looked at entire county's records briefly for you.

http://gen.nobleco.lib.in.us/Cemeteries/ACemindex.htm

Lisbon is a small old cemetery and is tucked away in a back lot with no real lane to drive down. The current list of names many have been updated since you last looked at it.

Did not find Elizabeth recorded (does not mean she is not there and I will look)but I did find a *Davison J G Jan 24, 1884 17y4m7d *
Maybe a sister???
One thing leads to another in these hunts...
Here are some of the names of some of the long time families of the area that are currently living in the area that may have clues you can use.
Leighty- They are well know farmers/land owners/politics- They lived down the road from us and my kids sent to school with a few of them. East Leighty Rd Kendallville, In 46755 is where you can find the family members we know.
Ihrie- was my sons Kindergarten teacher in 2005 at Wayne Center Elementry School in Kendallville. Try the school website to get her email. She still teaches there.
Herrick- Is a well known name around town (business). I did not know them personally.
Hopefully this may give you some leads. Most folks in the area are nice and helpful if you ask politely. Kendallville is the main town in this county but Albion is the county seat. The Noble County Genealogical Society is a very useful source for the area records. Hope this helps.

RE: janet ?
I updated Levi's info this morning and added additional info also to hopefully fill gaps for you and your kin. Hope it helps. I have family that live 10 miles from Lisbon. If I get some spare time (holidays you know) I will stop over and see if I can find Mrs. Davidson for you. I did not get the chance to document them all because we transplanted to MI. for my husbands job before I was done.GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR HUNT!

Please use the white edit tab on the upper right side of the memorial page to send info for linkups, obits or other info. It helps the submitter of the person to find just who exactly you are referring to. Some people won't add info you send unless you use this "edit" tab.
Thanks!

I made the corrections you suggested and added a few more details I found through census records.

I walked and photographed this cemetery last summer. There were many stones that were weather worn and unreadable. When I do a tall stone, such as this one, I do walk all the way around to make sure I get all that are listed.

We had a great uncle lost in the Woodward tornado and is listed on the memorial wall and is buried right there in Woodward. This might be a possibility. The newspapers say it was pretty devastating and there were approx. 100 people that died during the tornado.

Janet, One of the young children is Aaron, I may have missed one there, sometimes there are just stones with BABY or no last name, so hard to know for sure which family they belong to. It is always fun to be able to link a large family together! Happy hunting! Luella

Janet, Welcome to Find A Grave! I did the edit & would be glad to transfer to your care. The easiest way is to go to the edit tab on the right top of the memorial, then are choices, Suggest a correction- :) Do you know if this family of Sharps are related to the ones at Liberty, NE? Luella
