|glenda wheeler||Henry Rader|
I have removed the photo and am so sorry that it is not the correct Henry Rader. I received the photo on Ancestry. My info on Ancestry has him married once to Catherine ETTER on 12/14/1790 in Wythe County, Virginia.
This Henry is the 3rd great grand uncle of my aunt's husband, not a close relative.
Thank you for all you do for Find a Grave.

|James Brent||RE: Meadow Creek Church Cemetery|
Thanks for your message. I found the 'Sun' article and have created a memorial for Rachel Davis Waddell (# 110984547). I have linked this to the memorials for her parents. There is no memorial for the son, James E., or her husband. I noticed Kiser (now Kiser-Rose Hill) Funeral Home handled arrangements. It's likely someone there could confirm her husband is also interred at Meadow Creek.
Memorials for the husband and son easily could be created upon confirmation, along with the birth and death dates for them. I don't have the full dates for Rachel W. either.
Another great source for cemetery information in Greeneville is the Elmer Cox Archive at the corner of N. Main and Spencer St. They have several directories, along with vintage newspapers on microfilm. The ladies there are very knoledgeable and helpful.

Sarah Elisabeth Hale is my great grandma her husband was harry elmore burrell
i'm also related to the rader family too the person i'm related was in the civil war and died in the war he died in his brothers arms his names was s.cornelius rader
My wife Leslie and I are also retired and we live in Port Charlotte fl. Just north of Ft. Myers on the Gulf Coast. I have been to Dulaney several times and a lot of pictures of the old log cabin that belonged to Henry. I was the same as you when I was a kid could have cared less about who my ancestors were or what my grandparents knew about anything. My dad died in 2005 and he did not like to talk much about his dad - mom or grandparents. He would say best to leave that alone. Now I know why To many marriages, divorces, step kids and hard feelings over wills and what kids got what. I am still proud to be a Rader after 30 years of research I don't think we are any more messed up than any other family I have done research on. But sometimes it is hard to find the truth. Tom
