Michael Gill
hi Barry,
Can you tell me does Michael Gill ( with memorial number 114578938) Father John Gill have a memorial number? In the inscription it speaks of his father?

Thank you

Comber gravesite
Hi, I was wondering if you are a Comber/Comer descendant? I am researching for a Comer family here in the US that came from County Mayo in the early 1900s. You can contact me directly...

Gibbons history
Looking for the father/mother of this person (James Gibbons,1824-1897) from Mayo, Ireland.
I have connections to a Walter Gibbons from this area who may have been his father. Walter married a ?(maybe Margaret)Barrett. Walter had a son John,1833 (my grgrdfather), and his other children that I know of: Patrick, abt 1825; Mary, abt 1836; Catherine, Dec 1849; and a Walter, unkn birth date.
Any info or suggestions for searching will be greatly appreciated. Helen

Urmston Cemetery

The records for Urmston Cemetery are held at Altrincham:

If you can obtain the grave ref I could then visit and look for a gravestone.
Maybe when you do contact Altrincham though check whether or not it is a common grave.

Urmston Cemetery

In order to find a grave a photo volunteer needs to know the grave ref. This can be obtained from Altrincham Crematorium office email:

Please see FAGs:
NOTE: Please contact the cemetery for plot information prior to making your photo request. Some cemeteries are now charging to look up plot location information, but they will usually provide the information free to family members.
NOTE: Many cemeteries are now asking that a relative of the deceased contact the cemetery to obtain plot, lot and grave location information, as well as inform the cemetery staff that a volunteer will be coming to take the photo of the grave marker. This helps with verifying that the deceased is buried there, makes it easier for the volunteer photographer to find the grave marker, and may help the photo volunteer gain permission to take the photo.

Kind regards,

Gavin's in Holy Cross
Hello Barry,
I am not related. I am one of many photo volunteers at this cemetery. I watch the photo request list and if I can help with any information on those buried here, I do. As far as Eleanor Gavin's death notice, it can only be viewed in full for a small fee. If you want the whole notice, I'd be happy to get it for you. No charge to you. Just let me know.

Take Care,

Gavin's- Holy Cross Cemetery

I saw your photo requests in Holy Cross Cemetery in Brook Park, Ohio for 4 members of the Gavin family. If you don't have death notices for Dorothy, Edward, Leo and Eleanor (only part of hers) and would like them either email me or if you want, I'll leave them here. I am a photo volunteer there but will not be taking any until Spring.

Take Care,
