Bio and Links
Bio Photo Hello,

My quest as "GateKeeper" of our family ancestry, began with receiving the Diary of my grandmother, (see Memorial for Rhoda Ruth Detzel) I then discovered that she also wrote her Life Story which included the details of her hard life in the 1920's in Newport, KY area. It is the making of a movie, has all the sorted details of that decade. Then in 1930 she contracted Tuberculosis and was hospitalized in the Hamilton County Tuberculosis Sanatorium in Cincinnati for over 15 years. At this time I am researching every word and detail in these documents, along with extensive research for our entire family's ancestry. It is a labor of love!!

All the Memorials I manage are family.

Re: Kubrak transfers

I made the transfers, but you should know that they are what are called "Out of Guideline" transfers. I didn't have to do them, because they are your husband's grandparents. If they were yours, under the rules, I would have to. Some people will not transfer "Out of Guidelines"--they have the right to do so. I will, but on a case by case basis. To read more on this, check out this link, which is under the Help With Find A Grave link on the upper left side of your screen:

Just giving you a head's up, and welcome to Find A Grave!

Have a good day,

RE: Picture of St. Elmo Harrison
Glad I could get your requested photo. I know how nice it is to be able to see burial markers for our ancestors. There are several volunteers who have done the same for me. ~Kay

RE: Charles Detzel
You are very welcome. I am always sadden when I find an unmarked grave. There have been several unmarked in my own family. At least, you can see the beautiful area in which he is buried. Chris
