Hi Jen,

Just a note to say thanks for sharing your family research. John Smith Chellis is my great great grandfather, his daughter Edith Chellis is my great grandmother who married William Andrew Alexander. If you would like to know more information on her side of the family just let me know.

Dear Jen,
I am also conducting family tree research and I believe we're related through marriage.

My grandfather Fred Merrill Olds had a son from his first marriage to Agnes Cook. I found your name when I went did some searching through Ancestry and Find A Grave.

I would love to chat with you and would appreciate your sharing anything you are able to about Robert. I have some photos of him as a toddler that you might be interested in.

Thank you
Cindy Olds Grauman
daughter of Raymond Olds

I'm in the process of "cleaning" up my mailbox, which is out of control and badly in need of maintenance. Anyway, I don't believe I ever responded to your email and I apologize of the delay.

You have in fact found your great-uncle. According to the California Death Index, his mother's maiden name was Spalding, he was born in New York, and his date of birth is March 23, 1870, not 1879 as listed in the VA records - I would be interested to know what's on his headstone, because I have found errors in the CDI.

I hope the above information is helpful, and again I apologize for the delay in responding.

Queen Morse
I have Edward (Queen's husband) and a Stephen Morse Jr. also entered. Would you like them also transferred into your care?

If you ...
