Bio and Links
Bio Photo Started working on my family tree back in March of 2011, but didn’t realize that was what I was doing. I was just killing time and throwing out Google searches for my darling maternal great grandma and was surprised at what I found. Now I have been “bamboozled” into working on both my paternal and maternal side. I will never be done! So much info out there to be found, and always more and more becoming available. I really appreciate the fine folks who volunteer to go out to the cemeteries and find headstones, photograph them, and upload them to Findagrave.com. If I would like to have a picture of someone’s headstone I occasionaly set up some findagrave memorials (if I am sure I have the right info on the people). I am pretty sure that all that info will be there in future for other researchers, so I guess I am doing my bit. I also add links between memorials, if they aren’t yet there, between spouses, parents and children. Sometimes offer more info on their birth, marriage, death info as well. I can sometimes spend over 60 hrs a week on this “hobby?” of mine and, still, I feel like I have so much more to do.

stone photo Bertram & Charlotte Martin
Hi Judy
If you would be so kind as to send me your email address I would send you a photo of the Martin stone in the Wroxeter cemetery.
My sister and I are researching said cemetery but don't as yet have a photo of the Margaret Nelson stone.

RE: DYNES, Russell Warren & Lavina Nelson & Walter George
There are some additional DYNES I found and will be posting them shortly. I don't know id you have ever been to Dresden Cemetery but because of its size, its crappy index and terrible maps, it takes a long time to locate some of these gravestones. I have averaged about 7or 8 per visit which can last over an hour. I'm slowly getting the number od requests found. Any burials after around 2000 are not in the index so makes it even more difficult. However, when I do locate and photograph them, it makes me feel really good. It's too bad a round trip from Sarnia to Dresden there and back takes about 2 hours of driving time.

RE: PULICE, Nick Arthur
I used the Nationwide Gravesite Locator on the US Department of Veterans Affairs at http://gravelocator.cem.va.gov/index.html

I also did a full site lookup for the surname PULICE and it did not locate either of them at any National Cemetery in the USA.

Reading the obit that you sent, it reads that the memorial service was held at the Great Lakes National Cemetery, but no specific mention of burial at the cemetery. If you can get a copy of either of their death certificates it will indicate the name of the cemetery were one or both of them are buried.

I did a search on Ancestry.com and no death certificate is available there is also no record available for a military headstone request. Which I have found for all of my ancestors that have done military service and had military headstones placed in any cemetery (National or public).

Sorry I couldn't be of more assistance.

RE: Garlock, Cloyd 1882-1940
Hi Judy,
I wasn't sure if the "Father" headstone was Cloyd Garlock but thought I'd post them so you could have a look. There are a couple of other Garlock headstones next to the large one. I can go back in the next couple days and let you know the names; I should have taken photos while I was there today, but there isn't any other Garlock Find A Grave memorials defined yet for this cemetery. If my memory serves I think the headstone directly behind the large one is Milo. It cannot be seen in the photos I posted. There is also a headstone directly to the right of the large one.
