Back in December you kindly left a photo of Geo M Scheidy on his memorial. I came across it today. Thank you so much for that - I have truly long wondered what he looked like. It appears to be a newspaper shot. May I ask where the photo came from?

My apologies, but you left me a message a few years ago on my old profile (I can't seem to be able to get into it and had to start a new one all over) and I never knew until just now.
Yes, Horton Orval Averett (he went by Orval) married Florence Edna Carey. Her DOB is 2/18/21, and yes, she is still living.
I have been working on my family genealogy for about 18 years and would love to compare notes with you if you hail from the Carey side of the tracks... :-)

Sarah did have a younger sister named Magdalena, and that birth year would be quite possible, as there was one sister between Sarah and Magdalena. I will email you more info on the Heberlings!
