I live in Homer, Illinois with my husband and two children. I have been researching genealogy since 1993. I have been taking pictures of gravestones in my area even though I have no connection to any of these people. My hope is that someone will benefit from the pictures I provide, and maybe people will then take pictures in their area.
My photos are usually taken in bulk, so I do not take much time to clear the stones or to remove bird droppings. If you require a cleaner picture of a stone, please make a photo request. When I shoot a stone for a photo request, I take a lot more time.
picture on 106353784 Can you transfer the picture from Daisy Ray-Black to Daisy Black #132722072. Mine is a duplicate and the Daisy Black does not have a picture of the tombstone. Thank you.. If you could let me know when you have done that, I will then delete my entry of #106353784.

Carpenter Family records were incorrect, just found that he is buried in Old Homer. thanks very much for your offer. There is now a photo of his stone there posted on memorial. His father in law David W. Rush I believe is at Old Homer with his wife Mary Ellen Hickenbottom/Higginbotham Rush memorial. Michael Coan has posted some Carpenter gravestone photos and on his website he has photos of all Old Homer. I do believe that David W. Rush is on same stone as his wife but can't find a death date. He was living in 1880. Often times that happens...another person's inscription is on backside and can be missed. If you are ever wandering around there in Spring, would you mind looking on the Rush stone to see if you find David. I'd like to enter a memorial for him at Old Homer but really would like to verify and have a death date. thanks for any help. much appreciated!
G.A.R. cemetery inquiry Hello, Becci, love the spelling of your name! I noticed you posted a photo of gravestone for Don B. Carpenter at GAR. I am seeking his father John C. Carpenter who family believes he is also buried there since he was a veteran of Civil War. Might you know of a list that might show if he is indeed there perhaps? His wife Nancy Belle Rush Carpenter is listed at Old Homer Cemetery. I'd love to verify which cemetery he is in. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated. I created a memorial for John at GAR based on family records but need to verify. thank youQ
