RE: Edward and Matilda Cook
You can add this couple to the cemetery that you have listed in the obit. Then on the right side, click on the box that has: Request a Photo. Then just wait. We walked the cemetery but did not get to the back rows under the shade trees.

The other thing to do is to contact the sexton of the cemetery and have them check the location and then my sister or anyone in the area could easily find the monument.

Best of luck,

Zenor Cemetery
Kim, The county township trustees are responsibile for the cemeteries within their township, BUT trying to get them to do their job is something else. We have cemeteries in Clay County with Revolutionary soldiers, and you can't even get to the cemetery.

I have been told that the family of those within the cemetery are responsible for the maintenance of the burial plot. What if the family is all dead or now lives in another state?

I know of families who take it upon themselves to keep the cemetery clean, but that doesn't happen all the time.

Good luck on your quest.

Zenor Cemetery (Bowling Green)
Kim, I had a feeling you were from out of town. According to your memorials, most are in Wisconsin with a few in Spencer.

Good luck on your find.

Zenor Cemetey (Bowling Green, Indiana(
Kim, I don't know if you're from here or not. I live in Brazil, Indiana.

1. Go east on SR 46 into Bowling Green.
2. Turn south onto West Court (there's a US Flag on your lefthand side & the fire station on your righthand side).
3. Follow West Court till it comes to a "T" (one block). Turn left (east) onto East Washington Street.
4. Turn south at the 1st road (South Jefferson Street).
5. Follow South Jefferson Street and it'll become East River Road.
6. Follow East River Road about 4000 feet till you see a farm road on your right (west side).
7. Park your vehicle at this interesection. (I backed into the farm road & parked my car facing east).
8. Walk North on East River Road about 100 yards (look for a clearing/pathway on your right).
9. Climb up the hill and over the fallen trees.
10. There's no cemetery sign. The cemetery is on top of the hill.

NOTE: When I was there, it was heavily covered in knee high growth.

There are headstones broken, buried, and hard to find, because of the growth.

Hope this helps you. Good luck.
