RE: Elmira Franklin #28467397
Hi Jay -

I transcribed the very old notes from Thurman Cem in Colorado, that I was given, and re-typed and transcribed the map layout of the cemetery. I posted a copy onto Elmira's memorial, in case you want to take a look.

Thanks again for all of your work in the Thurman Cem.

Cheers from Washington!

RE: Elsie Brauer
Thank you for your time and the photos of the gravesites. It always saddens me when no family could pay for a simple marker. Thanks again your time is appreciated :)

Hi Jay-

you are awesome. Thank you so very much for the info you sent!

Please know I value the work you did in the Thurman Cemetery. No need for you to look to hard in previous pics. Your info you sent was very valuable to me. Thank you!

My family markers are over 100 years old, and even to find one is a blessing. I think most are long gone, but hope to place new markers there for future generations to explore too.

Thanks again!

Elmira Franklin #28467397
Hi Jay-

I wondered if you might recall where the marker was, in the Thurman Cemetery, for Elmira Franklin? I am trying to find her mother's grave and two more siblings, and believe they are buried in a row together.

The cemetery is set up with a North section and a South section. But the rows go across both the north and south, running north to south. For example, if I begin in the west part of the cemetery there is row A. (only one visible marker there now I think, plot 1). and row B has one visible marker, plot 1. Row C has three markers, plots 1-2-3. And row D has about 15 markers, and the first two (plot 1 and 2) are in the north section, and then the rest are in the south section (plot 3-15). It is a little confusing...

If you have any ideas or recall where in the cemetery her marker is, I may be able to find the rest of the family. They all died in 1892-1895.
