Bio and Links
Bio Photo Retired, living in Owensboro, Ky. I grew up in Pellville, Hancock County, KY. Most of my ancestry is from south Hancock County, Ohio County, and eastern Daviess County, KY. Researching my family lines of Brown, Gabbert, McDaniel, Shultz, Moorman, Bradshaw, Morrison, & Lindsay.

I enjoy helping others by providing information and pictures of grave stones. I remember how blessed I have felt when I came across a photo of one of my ancestor's grave stones that I was researching. However, I respect the privacy of others, and if I have posted a picture of one of your close relatives that you do not want posted, please contact me with the information and I will remove it if I think the request is warranted.

Ada Schaefer headstone
Mr Brown,

Would you be able to take a photo of Ada Schaefer's headstone, Find A Grave 130507906? She is buried in Mater Delorosa Cem, next to her mother Christina Schaefer in the St James section, row 52, lot 264.

Her father Michael and Uncle August are buried in the same lot. She was born 1903 and died 1991.

I really appreciate your help. Thank you,

Joe Schaefer

Catherine L. Braun photo thank you!
Hurrah, and thank you for your much appreciated effort! I am sooo glad to see this very nice photo, not only affirming my information on Catherine, but she was single, and the last of her generation of siblings to die, so I worried that she couldn't be found. I assume she is in the 2nd location that the cemetery gave me yesterday - Elmwood, I-176? You have truly done me, and our family, a service of kindness! Sincerest thanks!

Thank you for taking the time to photograph Mary's headstone. Will Adams was my great uncle.

I called the cemetery office again today, and was told the grave location is Section I-176 (different from the previous B-B1), so I hope this could be correct. I don't know what else to do? I'll also put this on her memorial page in case that eases anything. Thank you.

Thanks for checking about Catherine L. Braun, the youngest daughter of John and Catherine A. Braun. The location I have listed is what the cemetery office gave me this AM.

Palmer photo thank you!
Thanks for taking/posting the great pic for Lorena and Arthur Palmer! I was having trouble finding a trail for them, finally finding her death certificate on, stating her burial location - their grave-stone speaks clearly!

Palmers (Braun connection)
You're right about there being no Palmers in, UNTIL last evening, when I found and added them! had little to no information, nor did the family trees. Then, somewhere I found a key piece, and took off from there. Palmers and Lorena's sister Catherine had no children, so I may be caught up with that family branch. Thanks again!
