I fulfill photo requests (including the surrounding family headstones) in my area.
I travel some through Louisiana and Mississippi for my work and like to visit cemeteries and take pictures of headstones when I can.
All of the pictures and information I publish to Find A Grave may be used freely without the need to provide source information.
I do request a lot of corrections to memorials that may have errors or that need further pertinent information. Thank you to all who are receptive. I also will gladly receive any requests for corrections.
If you would like a transfer of a memorial, please send your request to me through the Find A Grave message system and include your relationship.
I have documented several cemeteries through pictures. My current project is Hasley Cemetery in West Monroe, La.

You are Most Welcome!!
Thanks for trying to find the Goodrich and Morgan headstones in Cosper Cemetery. I'm saddened to hear the cemetery is in such a state of neglect. I'm sure there are many stones hidden beneath the leaves and shrubs. I recently unearthed four stones in a cemetery in MA that had fallen over decades ago and surprisingly they were all intact! I know it can be a difficult process to get the powers that be to reclaim old burying grounds, but hopefully someone will see the historical value.
Thanks again for taking the time to poke around!

You are welcome. It is fun to find the people and be able to provide what ever information the county has on them. I wish I could find them all!

LOL! I know how it is sometimes....you might want to check and see how the edit gets done. The one I submitted based on his death certificate listed Buffalo, MO as his birthplace, which is in Dallas County. Might need an update if you have earlier records.
Actually, since he is a CW veteran, and has no marker, you may want to get in contact with one of the local veterans groups and request a headstone for him.
With the somewhat recent change in VA policy about headstones, it requires a relative to request one now (not just the cemetery). Although FLG would charge setting fees, one of the local veteran groups (or SUV) might be able to either absorb them, or get them waived.
Then again, wonder if anyone has probed that spot to find out if one is actually there and has sunk? Since he died at the VA Hospital, you'd think they would have taken care of the headstone issue.
Oh well, just a thought on this Memorial Day weekend!
