Bio Photo From Austria, Europe, spending my time with genealogy, photography and music.
I came here in March 2013 via Google finding the grave of my great-grandfather (#73871241), I uploaded a photo of his, and registered as a photo volunteer. I can also help with questions related to Austria, Germany, places here, and German language.

Thank you Susanne
It was so nice to get the photo of my great grandparents at last.

Thank you for your time and efforts. The gravestone looks in very good condition, do you think someone is looking after it regularly?

Hello Susanne! I'm pleased I helped in a small way and transferred management of this memorial to you. The photo is wonderful!

RE: Moses Mausner
Dear Susy,

Thank you very much for the close-ups and translation.

Would it be possible to contact the cemetery office to see if they have any information on Moses? For example the name of the person who purchased the burial plot or any other information.

Thank you very much for all your help
Alan

RE: Moses Mausner
Dear Susy,

Thank you very much for all the time and effort your put into getting the photo of Moses' tombstone.

Would it be possible to get a close-up photo of the writing on the tombstone the next time you go to the cemetery?

Is the writing on the tombstone (except the Hebrew)in German? Can you translate it?

Thank you and love from the US
Alan

Guttmann and Kaufer photo requests
Dear Susy, Thank You Thank You Thank You!! I've been waiting a long time for any info I could get on these burials of my relatives. You have answered many questions, and opened up a few more. Its a shame that the graves were not taken care of, but then I'm probably the only living descendant who even knows about these graves. And with my age and health the best I can do is make the world aware that these people existed. There is not much interest in my own family.
Based on this one tombstone, I think I can piece together this part of my family tree. If Elise is the mother, Judith and Hermine must be the daughters. I've never seen names arranged like this on any tombstone before, but it just makes sense.
Thank You again for your help,
Dave
