RE: Pauline Miles Daugherty, your photo request
Would you like me to transfer her memorial to you? I'm searching to see if there are other records, and I'll let you know. I couldn't find her husband, Nevelle Daugherty's obituary in the Crisfield Times archives online. Valerie

Pauline Miles Daugherty, your photo request
Hi, I checked the authority on Daughertys, Blox Daugherty, and it looks like Pauline Miles Daugherty's grave was moved to Asbury Cemetery, or perhaps the the obituary meant a Crisfield cemetery, not The Crisfield Cemetery. Anyway, I'll edit the cemetery and look for her gravemarker the next time I'm there. Valerie

Preston Cook
Hi Susie. Thank you so much for finding Preston's headstone and posting the picture. The photo looks great and I truly appreciate the time you spent in the cold! Thank you!

Oh, the other thing I should have mentioned if you are interested in this cemetery; Rick's Memorial Cemetery: is an annex of this cemetery. It, too, is associated with Mt. Zion AME Church. So, if you're looking for some one else, check both cemeteries. I'm pretty confident I've photo both, but ya never know if I missed one or had lousy light that day.

Thank you for the keen eye. Yes they were duplicates. I was updating the cemetery from two sources, one my tombstone images and later from a listing provided by the Chester County Veteran's Affairs office- that must be how I did that.

I did delete the George Johnson with not photo- then I added the death certificate, the veteran's burial card and changed the W. to Washington. I see the photo requestor has removed her request.

I have been very interested in this cemetery and had worked closely with the historian there. You may have noticed little flags around the cemetery. They did a 'sonar' (may not be the correct term) to pinpoint disturbed soil, hence identifying probable graves. No telling who all is in there.

Thanks again.

Do you think the death certificate I added to her Find A Grave entry is hers? I've often seen birth years off by one year. If you think it's not, let me know, otherwise I'll add the full dates.

Where did you get the dates you had me update?

RE: Egbert T. Bush
Fyi - The Hunterdon County Historical Society is selling Egbert's book of poetry for $6 to non-members and for $4 to members? It's 32 pages.

Egbert T. Bush
I've got pictures of a news story/obituary on the death of Egbert T. Bush from 1937. It's quite long. If you want me to send you the pics, please send me an e-mail address. In the meantime, I'll piece together a biography and send the edits to you. Cheers, Rhonda,

RE: Jonathan Thomas
The cemetery is located on the South side of St. Jerome's Neck Road, 2.85 miles from the intersection of Maryland Rt. 235 and St. Jerome's Neck Road. This is in the area of St. Mary's City, Ridge, of St. Mary's County. PRIVATE PROPERTY. I have not been there in over 15 years, and there was only 5 or 6 graves there. Milburn, Jones, Bennett, and Jonathan Thomas. Hope this helps
