I have been interested in genealogy since 1999 and have been fortunate enough to have many kind strangers come forward to help me along the way with pictures, records, dates and other bits of information that I would not have been able to easily obtain otherwise. Being a photo contributor on Find A Grave is just my way of paying that kindness forward. I am in the area of Berrien, VanBuren and Cass counties in Michigan and St. Joseph County, IN and am happy to try and hunt down grave markers/stones in those areas. If I post a photo of a grave marker, feel free to use for your family tree information. No need to ask permission. If I create a memorial of your family member and you would like me to transfer management of it to you (unless the record is a member of my own family), please just request through the edit function. I'd be happy to transfer it over to you. If you have questions or want to suggest corrections, please use the edit function as well and I will see to them as soon as possible.|

Thank you for the transfers. I really didn't need them because I knew they were in good hands with you, but I appreciate your kindness. :) Sandy

Thank you for the detailed photograph of Henrietta Napier's gravestone, with her daughter "Libbie." Also, thanks for the transfer. I very much appreciate your time and effort in finding this stone.

Thanks very much for the transfer of the Napier memorials. I have an uncle in his late 80's, whose middle name is Napier, so I'm especially happy when I can add Napier info to our family tree for him. I so appreciate your willingness to try to find other Napier graves. I'm especially hoping to find Capt. Benjamin, and his sons Andrew "Jack"(1831 – 1859) and Capt. Joseph A. Napier (1826-1914), an early Keeper of the St. Joseph Life-Saving Station, who will have a Coast Guard fast cutter named in his honor in 2015.

Thank you so much for the photo of my 2 times great grand Uncle. It's so nice to see his grave stone. His parents both died in Iowa and they have no stone at all. I have been lucky to find stones for most of there children. Again thank you so much.

I would like to thank you soooo much for taking the time to gather my family's headstone photos. I rarely get to that part of Illinois and so appreciate your help.
