RE: Samuel Martin
no i don't have any pictures. i think my uncle lived in the house Samuel lived in abt. 1914 because there is a story i have about his neighbors being murdered and it mentions Sam Martin lived behind them and saw lights upstairs. I have a picture of the house, my cousin lives in it now.

RE: Hankins 80696142
Thank you for telling me some of your Hankins linage. I am wondering if all of the Hankins in Madison, Jefferson Co Indiana are all related in some way. Have you done any research regarding this?
I will look at webroot.com and see what I can make of your Richard Hankins will mentioning a William Hankins.
Although we may not connect until a period of time before, I say, 1770's I will keep your data in a file.
From my Rolin Hankins m Mary Ann Knox there is a line of Skaggs that married a Hankins. Will look and see what I have on that line to see if there is a connection. This Rolin and Mary are buried in Keller Cem in Clinton Co Mo.

Have you ever come across the name of Agnes Collier? She married 18 Dec 1818 to Joseph William Hankins, lived Upper Township Lawrence Co Ohio among his father and other siblings. After 1830 it shows this Joseph remarrying with no mention of his previous wife or children. In and around 1832 he moved to Madison and Henry Co Ind.

I am a Hankins researcher trying to connect my linages with that of other trees. Can you tell me who Absalom Hankins parents were? What was their travel path into Tenn.? I have linage from Va into Lawrence Co Ohio 1810 census, from Kanawa Co Va. From there our linage of Daniel Hankins Jr. b 1805 Va went into Madison Co Ind and by 1848 they were in Decatur Co Iowa.

With several loose ends and old letters stating some cousinship I am working on finding the connections. Anything you can share with me would be appreciated.

Am looking for a William Hankins Jr b 1819 place not known shown on 1870 c married to wife Elizabeth Peak and she is a widow by 1880 census. As they are from Jefferson Co Ind I am wondering if there is some family connection. This linage is related to my linages.
A Jim Scanlon at Jscanlon11@aol.com is looking for his history from this line. looking forward to hearing from you.
Do you know how all of the Hankins in Springdale Cem. are related to oneanother?

Martha Marshall Longmire?
Do you have more information on her and her husband/family? She is the sister of Mary Ida Marshall Camp my 8th greatgrandmother.

Thanks

Celiac gene
We share Richard Hankins, who seems to be the carrier for Celiac. It affects 1 in 133 Americans, but 34% worldwide have the gene... most seem to be from British Isles and Appilaicia in turn. Alabama for me.

Hello,
Did you know you have created no less than three (3) memorials for this same ancestor?
Please correct so as not to confuse.
Thank you.

Hi, I saw you left a flower message on John's memorial. I was looking for my family info (no, I'm not related) and found a newsletter with some info on John and his family. Here is the link. I hope it works. If not, just let me know. I can send you the file. Go to page 171 on this newsletter. Have fun. Gayle
