Our Family Tree has been a ten year effort to document our ancestry. Our interest first began upon the discovery of my wife, Cynthia's, Huguenot roots in Southern France. From there it has grown and been refined to include Mayflower descendants, Revolutionary War veterans and many other interesting ancestors. We discovered Find-A-Grave in 2013 after adding our tree to Ancestry.com. |
This has opened up a whole new area of researching and networking to us.
Our tree is located at Ancestry.com as the Archbold,Lester, Robinson, Weaver Family Tree.

|Tonia Hunt Ashdown||Thanks|
Thanks for trying to find those headstones for me.
|Lon Mason||Vivian & Loretta Gubler tombstone|
Thanks so much for the photo of Vivian & Loretta Gubler's tombstone. Your efforts are greatly appreciated.

I fixed the dates for you. I can't believe I put him down for 1764-1942...what was I thinking? Haha! I'm glad to have helped you along with your tree. Happy hunting!
|Victoria Roberts Smiley||RE: Thank you,|
It was my pleasure. Like I said, I will get up the rest of what I found shortly. His family has a large plot. Elisha Raymond Jr., Patty Raymond, Eliza F (Flint), Seneca Flint, Seneca Raymond, Dorcas Raymond, Susan B. Raymond, Elisha Raymond (1808-1869), Frank Raymond, and Caroline Susie are all there. Are any familiar? If they already have memorials, put through a request so I can find them and add easily. Otherwise I'll add them unless you prefer to do it. Just let me know what you'd like done to honor your family.

Hi! In regards to your photo request, can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker? Please post this information to the memorial or send it to me.
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
Forest Home is a huge cemetery with well over 70,000 burials, and the information is needed in order to find someone there and take a photo of a grave. I go here regularly, and since August I have found over 200 graves at Forest Home that had the location information provided. Thank you! Ace

|Jared Calwill||Re: Reynolds|
Thank you for getting a picture of the Reynolds stone. I really appreciate the help.
The inscription on Anna Maria Miller read
"In memory of Anna Maria Miller
who departed this life February 18th 1847
aged 79 years 9 months and 1 day"
(making her calculated birth 17 May 1767.
Also took a photo of Michael Miller (presumably her husband) next to her. If you'd like to create his memorial, he died January 10, 1845 (a little shaky on the "5" of 1845), aged 80 years 8 months and 20 days 9making his birthdate 21 April 1764. No need for a request - just let us know the memorial is there, and we'll post the photo.
All the best.
|Tiffany Proctor Knighton||Dillehunt|
Thank you anyway. I appreciate your willingness to photograph them.

Funny, I sent an e-mail before I checked my page.

The headstone picture is there; but had to click on the picture of cemetery to see. Thanks for the picture; looks great.
