I was born August 12, 1964 in Chicago and have lived in the northwest suburbs ever since. My late father, Larry, owned and operated Analytics, Inc., a marketing research business for 23 years. My mother, Dolores, worked for him as an executive secretary for 23 years and I worked for him as an office manager, statistician, computer programmer, cabinet maker and videographer for 14 years. I presently work at Red Lobster. I have an Associate and Arts degree and plan to finish my education at Northern Illinois University as a business administration major. Afterwards, I plan to work in telecommunications.|
I am single. I have two younger brothers, Scott and Greg. My father, Larry G. Kaufmann, mother, Dolores V. (Kuhn), and brother, Brady, are deceased. On the paternal side, my ancestors were Henry J. Kaufman and Maxell Boyer < Joseph Kaufman and Bessie Anderson < Edward Kaufman and Katharina Brenkman. Maxell's ancestors were David Nelson Boyer and Mattie Bera Duncan < William George Boyer and Louisa E. Nelson. Mattie's ancestors were Henry Thomas Duncan and Sarah Jayne Taylor. On my maternal side my ancestors were John J. Kuhn and Vera Buttenbender < Albert Kuhn and Emilie Swoboda. Vera's ancestors were Amanda Hinderland and Frederick Buttenbender < Louis Hinderland and Fredericka Dedert. I am working on a large family tree on Ancestry.com.

Chris, I went back this afternoon and took better photos of the headstone under the afternoon soft sunlight. The quality of the new photos are unquestionably better.

Thanks, Chris, I did my best considering that the light was against me. This row of headstone is facing west but I went in the morning hours when the light is coming from behind the headstones. Look at the fourth picture and you will see the difference with the headstones that are facing east, across the snow.

Thanks for adding the picture and headstone photo to Amanda's memorial! Making it down to that cemetery has been on my to do list, but it just hasn't happened yet. I figured Fred was buried with her but was not positive. I knew of her burial location because of the memorial card my aunt had from her funeral. Thanks again!
I also transferred Virginia's memorial to you. It makes more sense to have the management for both under one person.

My pleasure. I also created a memorial for Virginia that is linked to his.

I will go take another look this week.

I live in Edmonton and specifically went up to the Grande Prairie area to take photos of my family gravestones. There are a couple of sites you could check that might have information: http://southpeacearchives.org/ or http://gp.abgensoc.ca/cemeteries.html
I took a look through the second link for Anderson and didn't find Jacob or Julia. Could they be under a different name?
at least you found someone who just might have been able to help you
to me that is what is MOST important!
Hope they can help you

I think I have an idea that might help you
There is a branch of the Alberta genealogy society in Grande Prairie. If you contact then they might have someone who can help you.
BTW not sure how you found me through that cemetery as I have never been up there.
