|A retired Texas CSR, my genealogy bug is only 2 years old. I had a 6 mo Ancestry subscription and spent hours per day on it. I regret I've come to it this late in life. Most rewarding to see are old photos. I really appreciate all the work of the existing researchers and look forward to getting my feet wet in the field.|
Special areas of curiosity are Glassy Mtn, South Carolina- the McJunkins and Stameys.
and Isabella County Mi.-- Canadian emmigrants-Dingmans, Engleharts, Mckays, Lennoxes,Harts.

You are so very welcome. Certainly hope you will be able to visit the cemetery. It is very small, but extremely well cared for. The grass is very green and immaculately manicured. The cemetery is situated next to the St. Henry's Catholic Church, which is about 3 miles north of the little village of Rosebush. The church is quite picturesque.
If you are interested in staying in the area, there are many great motels and hotels in the city of Mt. Pleasant, about 8 miles south of the cemetery, with lots of great restaurants as well as the Soaring Eagle Casino & Resort. If you prefer something more quiet and intimate, you might enjoy the historic Doherty Hotel in Clare, about 8 miles north of the cemetery. It is like taking a step back in time.
What ever your plans may be, have a safe trip!
