Bio Photo Born in California, graduated from high school in Okinawa, Japan, started college at U of Beograd in Jugoslavia (now Serbia) and FINALLY finished at Lebanon Valley College! (Visited a lot of colleges along the way).
Worked for Uncle Sam for 32 years before retiring.
Love outdoors and sports! I am a PADI Dive Master, Red Cross Water Safety Instructor, avid bicyclist (MS 150 fan), white water rafting and I jog for weight control...although I am slowing down with age.
Avid photographer since high school.
My father started my interest in genealogy with a circa 1923 group family picture. I did research to identify people and actually talked to one who was 3 years old when the picture was taken. After that I was hooked. All photographs taken by me for Find A Grave may be copied.

Joy, the photo that you posted on Michael Uhrich's memorial# 14744717 is actually his wife's marker. If you look closely at your photo, you can see "BARBARA" engraved across the top of the stone. I'm sure the words "wife of" were once more legible.

Thank you for all you do.

I saw that you took a picture of the stone for George K. Bair.
George K. Bair is my great great grandfather.

Are you from the extended family also?

Hi Joy,
That works for me. Will you please contact me through the Find A Grave memorial and I'll delete mine. I couldn't find it by name.

RE: Request Transfer of 2 grave memorials
As you requested, I transferred the memorials of your great grandparents to you to maintain. I added obituaries to both memorials and you can decide if you want to keep that information on their memorials. Good luck with your family research.

No problem, I live very close. Today I added memorials for her children Charles and Lizzie. I also linked her to spouse Irvin Young. Getting a photo for Lizzie will be easy, not so for Charles, although the cemetery is nearby, I don't have the plot arrangements. If he's kin, put in a photo request.
Have a great Labor Day,
Neil

Sorry, but I've been informed that Marsden's remains were returned to his family. So I have to unclaim your photo request.
