I am a Texas girl, born and bred, and have traced my roots here to the 1840's. I developed a love for genealogy many years ago and share this passion with my mother. Family names include : Sanders, Adams, Bagwell, Bragg, Wise, Seelke and Stifflemire.|

Wow, interesting. I was sure he had siblings but didn't have any names to go by. I was told the Catholic church would add the name "Maria" to all the females that were christened in the Catholic church. Not sure how true that is. If you like you can contact me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. It's kind of a pain to try to remember my password to this site and I never write it down.

Hi Casandra, I don't mind at all that you are searching. Yes, we have a friendly discourse in our family about Alba and Alva. In Spanish the b and the v sound similar so when people filled out documents they misspelled it. It has become very hard to trace our family tree. The farthest we have gone is my great grandparents that you mentioned. Also I don't really know how to research documents from Mexico. All I see are census records. To answer your question, yes that is my uncle. I am currently creating a family tree of everyone. My grandfather had about 12 kids. Two of which died early. One was 1 year old and the other was about 20. That was probably 50 years ago. It has become a challenge. I uploaded the tree to Ancestory.com hoping someone can connect to my family.

Wow, thank you so much on the photo of my grandpa's head stone. I wasn't expecting it. I am trying to search my genealogy but always stop short of my grandparents. I am certain my grandfather has siblings but can't find anyone. They are from Mexico which gets difficult.
I searched my grandfather's name, today. I found a picture of his grave. Thank you so much for adding it.

Would you please transfer all the pictures that you posted to Wilton Joseph Theriot to Joseph Wilton Theriot in the Forest Park Lawndale cemetery? I created a duplicate due to the first and middle name being listed out of order on the stone. One of his relatives created one with the correct order prior to mine but has no pictures. I didn't want to transfer the pics myself since I did not take them. Once you transfer them I will delete my memorial.
Thank you for all you do!
