RE: George Varner Sr. b 1760
I looked at Find A Grave Memorial# 101356310 for George Varner Sr. b 1760. I didn't create the memorial. I see that it was created by my cousin William "Darrell" Hosey. I left a flower token and that is all. I agree the bio is rather long and parts are repetitious but Darrell has a very large data base on the Varners so he is the one that did all the work. Sorry, but this doesn't tell me where the gravestone is - cemetery name? Town? The Find A Grave number of his gravesite is the very least I need!

RE: Jacob Wiley Sr.
The published cemetery survey of the Sowhatchee Cemetery is listed in the "Collections of Early
County Historical Society 2002 Volume III".

In that survey there is a listing for Unknown Wiley with the footnote "Date 1844. Two unknown graves."

This date is not exactly one of the dates that you mentioned, but you should contact the person in charge of the cemetery records and see if they know any more details.

Also, you might want to contact the Early County, GA clerk in the Early county courthouse. They supposedly have lists of cemetery surveys for 455 or more cemeteries.
