Thank you so much for the photo of the tombstone of little Lenora Boggess. Just wish I knew who she was.

The only Chapman Cemetery (besides the Black Chapman/ Chatman Cemeteries) that I know of is the one close to Williams Chapel. Do you know where that is? (Most everyone in that cemetery is my family, by blood or marriage). The Chapman cemetery that I know of is on Fulton Rd, just west of Wms Chapel, if you look on a map. Don't know if there are any headstones/ fieldstones there any more, as its VERY old. Your best bet would be to call the sweet ladies at the Archives. They are a great help. Here's the info:
Robertson Co Archives
504 S. Willow St.
Springfield, TN 37172
I checked my database and I have nothing else on the family, so apparently my family and yours didn't marry...tee-hee. My daughter moved me in with her a couple of years ago so I'm 500 miles away or I would go look for you. (Born and raised in the Lamont area). The TSLA is a definite fun place to go also, if you are near the Nashville area. Its the state archives and I have spent 100s of hours "playing" in there....its a family historian's Disneyland!
Hope this helps...let me know,

Your kind comments have made my day, thank you. Lately all I have heard from is grumpy people complaining because I posted a photo of their family members headstone. Two different people in a row! I just want to create a memorial for the family members that have gone on before us, so their loved ones can find the location of the final resting place.
I haven't done a lot of research on the Doss family. Two of my family members married into it, so as I came across the graves I added them here. I looked through my research, just now, and added the only other info I had, a bio for Thomas J Doss from a History book. It may be of interest to you as it has info about his father, Azariah.
Thank you again for taking time to send me a positive comment. Hope your day is as pleasant as you've made mine.
