RE:
You are so very welcome. I know that sometimes the old time spelling of the Catherine has numerous ways to spell it. I took a picture of your brother's headstone and put it on his memorial. Sounds like guys were close even tho a family breakup. I was thrilled to be able to help you. Blessings Jo

Find A Grave Memorial# 106850166

Hi. Just saw your posting at Richard, Jr. He is my 2nd GGF [2nd marriage to Caroline Kittrell].

I've researched him and all his children [and his father and grandfather]; willing to share if you need anything.

Always looking for family :)

RE: Bickerstaffs
To follow the Find A Grave protocol, you should set up 4 requests (2 Jos., Minnie, and Edward). They're all in the same location so, assuming that there is a headstone for the grave, the same photo(s) would be uploaded for each of the four.
Joseph A. and Edward are in location G-19-9-1; Joseph I. and Minnie in G-19-9-2.

Bickerstaffs
Carol, FYI .. Joseph I., Joseph A, and Minnie are buried in the same location. Walter is not listed in the Holy Cross data base (sfgenealogy.com)nor does he have a memorial page set up. If you'd like photos for Joseph (2) and Minnie, put in 3 requests.
Note: If Walter died after 2002, then that could be the reason he's not in the d.b., which covers 1887-2002 deceased.)

Can you tell me who her parents were including her mother's maiden name and where they are buried? Thanks.

The # beside J. Todhunter's name is his FindAGrave memorial #. This is a number that is assigned to a memorial when they are added to FindAGrave and you can search for a memorial using just that # and not their name.

RE: John Todhunter
On my website, Siskiyou Cemeteries Central, I found three records for surname Todhunter. 1) On the 1867 general registers (voter registration)there is a John Todhunter in the Cottonwood district. 2) on the 1892 Great Registers there is a Swaney Todhunter 30 yrs of age with black hair, also 3) in the death index there is a Swaney Todhunter that died 28-Oct-1946
in Siskiyou County. This indicates that Swaney's death certificate should be available from the county. The website address is: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~casiskiy/. We can discuss in more detail on my regular e-mail gen_nut@yahoo.com.

Hi, Carol - I am no relation to your family but I am currently going through the Grant County News 1879-1908 in the Historic Oregon Newspapers and searching for births and deaths and stories of interest. Early on I saw a number of news clips for Henry so I searched for him and found that he had died in Portland. I requested his obit from the Multnomah County Library to see where he was buried and then added he and his wife Julia. If you want to add your photos to their memorials OR scan photos and send to me, I will post them. I like interesting photos best. FindAGrave only asks that you crop the white borders on photos before they are downloaded to a memorial. I can add your biography to either of their memorials if you want to provide them to me. Thanks for contacting me. Any questions, let me know.

Also, when contacting me about a memorial, use the "Edit" tab on the upper right of a memorial and then "Suggest a correction..." and add your comments, biography, etc. and send to me that way. Thanks:)
