I am sort of the family historian. I've been researching my ancestors for a few years now. I think my Grandmother got me interested in the family's history. She would tell great stories. Made you want to know more about them. She is gone now and my Dad is the one telling the stories. One day, maybe it will be me telling the stories! I am 60 years old. Thinking about retiring . I have two children, three Grandchildren and a husband. I have worked with handicapped adults for going on 30 years. I live in a small rural town in up up up state New York.I would love to help anyone find what they need in my area. Essex county new york.

Thank you very much for the photo of his gravestone-looks like you had to dig for it! Your time and efforts are very much appreciated.

I changed the spelling of his last name to match the stone.

Take care.

RE: Tommy A Wallace
I've been doing genealogy for over 20 years and love going through old cemeteries. I live about 2 hours from Port Ewen and try to make it to Union cemetery about 3-4 times a year.

I think this is the correct gravestone. I don't know why the birthdates are different, but I will change the birthdate I had entered on this site to what is visible on the gravestone.
Thank you.

RE: Ormsbee cemetery
Sorry, I don't. She never got back to me on it. I have a feeling it was a handful of graves - probably not marked. Thanks for checking in. If I get any more info., I'll post a new request.
