I just noticed your note to the person who created Ms. Sharp's memorial, about linking her to her parents. Apparently that person is no longer active and the memorial is being maintained by Find-a Grave. You can send your note to and they should be able to make the links.

Michael Garrison
Incorrect info on Hannah Fonville
Hello My name is Mike Garrison of Alamance Co NC.. I just wanted to let you know that the children info for Hannah is incorrect. She was born in 1801 and died in 1841 ish.. She cannot be the mother of George Garrison (born 1811) and she did not birth the children you have dated after 1841 bc well she was dead. This is my direct line of Garrisons (George married Hannah F Garrison). I am the direct descendent of Brice Fredrick Garrison.. Can you please correct the info about Hannah? Please feel free to email me to discuss. George the father (Hannah's husband) married again after Hannah passed away.. thats where the other children came in. That needs to be corrected on her grave info page.. Kind regards, Mike Garrison Alamance County NC

Eld. Frederick Fonville, NC
I'm not related but am researching some of these NC pioneer FWB ministers, for a man who will publish something, (a short bio) of them in a book. I like finding their final resting places, and he includes that as well. Most information about a deceased person from long ago, will tell where they died but not the cemetery where they were laid to rest. That is what I try to find. Rev. Fonville played a very important part in the early history of his church in NC, and so it's fitting he be honored for doing that. I'm very pleased to meet you (even online) a direct descendant. Amazing. If you wish to write me privately, my email is posted on my profile page and I'd be glad to hear from you. I'm glad you told me, and it's noteworthy, that he donated the land where the cemetery is.

Thank you, very, very much for the photo of Rev. Fonville's stone. It looks like it is in an out-of-the-way I know that extra effort and care on your part was made. Appreciatively, winnie
