Courtney, I cannot thank you enough for the memorial stone marker photo of my grandmother's mother! It has taken so long to find where she was and although another man tried to get into Wildwood Cemetery, he found it was closed. As you can see from the memorial she was committed for acute depression after the death of her little daughter. My grandmother was 7 yrs. old and always believed that her father had brought her mother's body home for burial but could not remember where they went to put flowers on the grave. To find she had died in the Influenza in 1918 and been buried there was a terrible shock. My grandmother, Lily, and her sister had been told their mother died years before that time. I plan to visit the grave this spring. If I can ever do anything for you in the Denton County Area of Texas, please contact me. Thank you so very much.

Thank you so much Courtney. Yes, it is the right person. I added her death certificate to the memorial and when you subtract her age from the death year it is 1852. I had her birth information, but it took me forever to find her death. My mother and uncle had searched for her forever. They would be so proud to know she is found.

Thanks so much for the photo....this lady is a distant cousin of mine who was a patient at the Terrell State Hospital. Her father died before 1920 and her mother passed away in 1937. She had no siblings so most likely had no one to see to her burial. Sincerely, regis

By all means, post the pic. I have not seen the newer marker. It replaces one that was just his number. The marker is one and the same person as my great-gradndfaather.

Courtney, I made quick look into my files and did not find Charlie Rhodes, however that certainly doesn't mean there is no connection. I found that out recently when I was working with my wife's second cousin on their family. I found the death certificate for the cousins great grandfather which showed his parents. Out of curiosity I searched on them and found that her gr-great grandfathers' second wife was the sister of my grandfather.
